Product Description MORNING GLORY: Morning Glories are one of the best flowers to decorate fences and walls. The vining plants have gorgeous trumpet shaped flowers that open in the morning time. Each bloom only lasts a day, and the delicate flower fades with the advancing sunlight. The flowers also attract hummingbirds. Picotee Blue Morning Glory: Beautiful, deep violet blue double flowers trimmed in white. Truly an exquisite flower. Climbs to approximately 5 feet. May also be used in hanging baskets. Soak seed 24 hours before sowing. If starting indoors, plant 4-8 weeks before last frost. Prefers sun. Proper name: Ipomoea purpurea 'Picotee Blue'

| Customer Reviews: Beautiful blue August 23, 2007 J. Joz (detroit, mi USA) 50 out of 51 found this review helpful
Got a few seeds in there that didn't match this picture...lavender morning glories with pink centers. Finally today some other vines started blooming and voila! Beautiful flowering vine. NOTE: trying to change star rating to at least a 4...unable to do so for some reason. Good service from Hirt's.
Pretty morning glory - but NOT like picture on packet! July 6, 2008 Reader from Texas (Azle, TX) 20 out of 20 found this review helpful
See photos I have "shared" for this item. Maybe I got
all the wrong seeds in my packet.
Not even remotely close... September 20, 2008 Steven Robinson 19 out of 19 found this review helpful
Not a single flower looks like the one shown on the packet. Complete solid light blue, round flower. A complete packet with all the wrong seeds? Nice flowers and the germinated quickly, but not what I had paid for.
Allowed to hybridize? October 31, 2008 P. Boatman (Northern California) 12 out of 12 found this review helpful
I got a nice stand of primarily light blue flowers with a few other colors. Very nice to look at, but not at all what was advertized.
One wonders if they allowed these to be cross polinated with other varieties.
My flowers didn't look like the picture on the packet, either March 25, 2009 Cilly 11 out of 11 found this review helpful
I too thought I would get the double flowers and deep blue color on the packet. And my flowers came out purple, single, and pretty but not gorgeous.
I don't know what the deal is. Maybe one out of a hundred plants will produce a dark blue double flower? Or, maybe this flower never existed outside of Photoshop. It's a nice enough plant, but doesn't deliver as promised.
